Vashishta Samrat is pursuing Ph.D. in Child Rights and Child Labour.He belongs to Bihar and has completed his graduation and Post Graduation from B.N. Mandal University in Economics.He was merely 7 years old when he was pushed in domestic Child Labour. In 1998 he was rescued and was rehabilitated at Bal Ashram. Belonging to a very poor family, his parents are MGNREGA daily wage workers.
